Privacy Policy
Juan Cazalla Estrella (“we”, “us”) provides Dialer for WhatsApp for Android and iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles, why it is handled, and the choices available to you.
Dialer for WhatsApp is an independent application and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Data you enter or share with the app
The app can process phone numbers, optional message text, quick-message templates, and contact cards that you explicitly share with it. It does not request access to your contact list or call history.
Phone numbers and messages are processed on your device to prepare a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business link. When you choose to continue, the selected phone number and optional message are transferred to the WhatsApp application you selected and are then governed by WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
On Android, quick messages, recent numbers, and preferences are stored locally on the device and are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. You can delete quick messages and recent entries in the app; clearing app storage or uninstalling the app removes its remaining local data.
On iOS, app content may be stored locally and synchronized through your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit account when iCloud is available. You can control iCloud from the system settings and delete app content from the app or your Apple account.
The app does not send phone numbers, contact-card contents, or message text to Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat, or advertising analytics.
Analytics and remote configuration
We use Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage, purchase outcomes, ad events, app version, device characteristics, and technical performance. Logged app events do not include the phone number or message content you enter.
On Android, Analytics collection starts disabled and is enabled only when the applicable consent state permits it. You can revisit the available choices from Settings > Privacy Options when that option applies. Firebase may process device or app-instance identifiers, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, app interactions, and purchase-related events according to Google’s documentation.
Firebase Remote Config supplies operational settings such as ad frequency and interface behavior on Android. It may use a Firebase installation identifier and app/device information, but the app does not send your entered phone numbers or message text to Remote Config.
The iOS app also uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reporting. Crash reports can include device and operating-system information, app state, timestamps, and diagnostic details.
Advertising and consent
The free version can use Google AdMob, including interstitial and rewarded interstitial ads. Google Mobile Ads may process IP-derived approximate location, advertising or app-set identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used where applicable to request and store privacy choices. Ads are requested only when UMP indicates that they may be requested. The availability of personalized ads depends on your region, settings, age eligibility, and consent choices.
Rewarded ads are optional. The app explains the reward before the ad and provides a way to decline it. A reward is applied only when the advertising SDK confirms that the ad was completed.
Subscriptions and purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play on Android and Apple on iOS. We use RevenueCat to manage product offerings, purchase history, anonymous customer identifiers, subscription status, and access to premium features. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Free-trial eligibility, billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and payment information are managed by the applicable app store. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your Google Play or Apple account settings.
Other platform services
The app can open external applications and websites, including WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Google Play, the Apple App Store, and email or social links. Information you choose to send to those services is governed by their policies.
The app may invoke the platform’s in-app review interface. Ratings and review text are handled by Google Play or Apple; the app does not receive the text you submit through that interface.
Service providers
The app uses the following providers:
- Google Firebase privacy and security
- Google AdMob and advertising privacy
- RevenueCat privacy policy
- Google Play privacy policy
- Apple privacy policy
- WhatsApp privacy policy
These providers process information under their own terms and may process it in countries other than your own. We use their services for app functionality, subscription management, analytics, advertising, diagnostics, security, and legal compliance.
Retention and deletion
Local Android data remains until you delete it in the app where a deletion control is available, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. iOS data may remain in your iCloud account until removed there. Third-party providers retain analytics, advertising, diagnostic, consent, and purchase records according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.
The app does not create a Dialer for WhatsApp account, so there is no separate account-deletion process. For questions or requests concerning data controlled directly by us, contact us at the address below. Store purchase records and data held by third-party providers must be managed through the corresponding provider.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, or to withdraw consent. You can:
- Change available consent choices from Settings > Privacy Options on Android.
- Reset or limit advertising identifiers from your device settings.
- Delete messages and recent entries in the app.
- Clear app storage or uninstall the app.
- Manage iCloud synchronization from Apple settings.
- Manage subscriptions from Google Play or Apple.
- Contact us about a privacy request.
Children’s privacy
The app is a general-audience utility and is not specifically designed or marketed for children. It does not ask for a date of birth or create a developer account. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use where required by applicable law and should review the terms and privacy practices of WhatsApp, the relevant app store, and the service providers listed above.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been handled inconsistently with this policy, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Security
We use platform storage protections, limit app permissions, and rely on established service providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The revised date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes become effective when the updated policy is published here.
